It is suitable for processing workpieces with high precision requirements, and the error of roundness and linear dimensions will be better than that of fast-moving machines.

Injection mold

Medium-speed wire cutting machines, medium-speed does not refer to the speed of wire walking, but mainly draws on the processing technology of low-speed wire walking machines to achieve stripe-free cutting and multiple cutting, so it has the advantages of slow-speed wire cutting machines, and belongs to the range of reciprocating high-speed wire EDM machines. When cutting, sufficient processing allowance should be reserved according to the characteristics of the material to ensure that the workpiece will not be deformed.

Fast-speed wire cutting machines, the processing speed is relatively fast, and the electrode wire uses aluminum wire. When working, the electrode wire is connected to the negative pole of the pulse power supply, and the workpiece is connected to the positive pole. The high-frequency pulse power supply causes the working fluid to break through to form an electrical channel, so that the surface of the workpiece is melted. It should be noted that the electrode wire is reciprocating during processing. If the machine tool cannot control it well, the electrode wire is prone to shaking and breaking, resulting in a decrease in processing accuracy and quality.

The vertical rotary EDM wire cutting machine has an additional rotary motion around the axis compared to other machine tool electrode wires, which can make the electrode wire wear evenly, increase the life of the electrode wire, ensure the stability of the electrode wire during operation, reduce the probability of wire breaking, and achieve a high processing accuracy with a small long tightening force.
