Installing an injection mold is a technical task, and having a problem-free installation is the most fundamental requirement for trial molding. High-quality molds ensure plastic part quality and also extend the overall service life of the mold. The mold gate plays a crucial role in plastic molds—so how should it be installed? 

First, inspect the die head; only qualified die heads should be installed. If a transition sleeve is required, install it accordingly, and connect the components with bolts. Before tightening the components, use a level to adjust the longitudinal and lateral alignment of the die head to ensure accuracy and prevent precision errors. 

The selection of the heating plate should be based on the external dimensions of the die head, and it should be securely fastened to the die head using screws aligned with the thermocouple hole positions. The screw tightening must be carried out in the correct sequence, step by step, ensuring uniform and appropriate clamping force, as well as tight contact between the heating plate and the die head components. 

Insert the thermocouple and adjust the probe to tightly contact the measurement surface. When connecting the power plug of the heating plate, ensure that the voltages match. The die heating should be carried out in stages, gradually increasing the temperature until it reaches the appropriate level for production. 

Once the mold temperature reaches the preset value, the components must be tightened again to prevent material leakage. The machine should only be started after confirming that all parts are securely fastened.
