       During operation, the sliders of the plastic molds are in motion, and there is lubricating oil in the sliding grooves. However, over time, this oil will spread to the surroundings and form dirt. The positions of the sliders are mostly at a place where the plastic mold cavity vents. During the injection and filling process, the gases produced are discharged to the slider area, and if the slider is corroded by the gases, it will turn black.

The discoloration with dirt is also known as scale formation. The specific factors contributing to this phenomenon are as follows: 

The decomposition of plastic resins will result in oligomers. The more they decompose, the more foreign substances will be adsorbed. If the retention time is too long, more mold deposits will be formed. 

2. During the processing, lubricants and stabilizers must be added. These additives will form mold deposits when the product is formed. 

3. If the mold temperature is too low, the decomposition products of the plastic resin will be cooled and adhere to the mold, forming mold scale. 

4. No exhaust ports are installed in the plastic mold. The vaporized substances are not discharged, resulting in mold scale formation. Or the exhaust holes are too thin, causing a low exhaust efficiency and gradually leading to the accumulation of a large amount of mold scale. 

5. The injection speed is too fast, and the volatile gases generated during the processing of the raw materials cannot be completely expelled from the mold.
